E11: How to Conduct a Closet Audit

It can be a deflating experience when you open your wardrobe and don’t see things that spark joy anymore. But how do you start Marie Kondo-ing your closet to find out what to throw out or keep that makes sense for your style?

This week, we’re chatting all about how to clear out our closets with intention. A closet audit can be an overwhelming process — it can be difficult to figure out what still serves a purpose, and things often feel messier and more confusing before anything starts to make sense.

I introduce my unique framework to clearing out your closet, by identifying your Style Comfort Zone, Style Risk-taking Zone, and Style Aspirational Zone. This method really helps reveal your motivations behind why you want to keep something, how you can incorporate it with anything new you buy, and create a style that feels more aligned with you. At the end of the episode, I also provide some reflection questions for deeper exploration.
